Best tacos I've had on this island!

I've tried a few of the local joints for a good fish taco and everyone has their take on a "good" fish taco, but this spot is perfect for the purest. If you want just fresh, hearty, and perfectly cooked fish is street-taco style presentation, this is definitely the spot. It's in a little market and the service is quick and snappy.

I had a fish taco and a lengua taco. The lengua taco completely took me by surprise because I've not had good beef here in Hawaii, but I wanted to help be it a shot. I'm happy to say that I'm totally pleased with how this came out.

Make sure to stop into this spot if you're looking for a good... no... GREAT taco.

Walked in for shave ice, came out with massive burritos! A hole-in-the-wall spot stuffed full with Latino treats, snacks, drinks, and home-made foods. The place is a one-woman show (runs the shop and is the chef), so you have to wait approx 15 mins to get your food. But it's fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. As Latinos, we were impressed with the authenticity and taste. A local friend was with us, and she said the chorizo burrito was the best outside of California! If you're looking for Mexican food, this place is your spot for breakfast and lunch!

Disgusting dry tacos.  Also gave me chicken instead of pork and insisted I was wrong and would not fix it.

We're, from SF California and let me tell you, Lucy's Empandas are the Best!! Plus, she's a warm hearted and very friendly lady, she'll make you feel right at home. She keeps her store extremely clean and stocked with lots of goodies. Go check it out and try the chicken empanada or the pork and beef. Thank you Lucy! I'm definitely coming back, for another "Lucy's Famous Empanadas"on our next trip to Maui...Aloha!
